This presentation explores the human-animal bond through Native American/Indigenous perspectives drawing on lived experiences, research, and collaboration with Native American/Indigenous communities. It also highlights how the relationship between clients and veterinarians is influenced by animal surgical procedures and cultural backgrounds.
