This lecture reviews general presenting clinical signs, typical blood work, and imaging findings in both dogs and cats with congenital biliary tract disorders. This lecture discusses recommendations for obtaining liver biopsies and biopsy interpretation. This lecture also provides updates on the findings thus far of a large prospective clinical trial occurring in dogs and cats with these disorders.
