Mandibulectomies and maxillectomies often create anatomical defects that can lead to dysfunction. Anatomically reconstructing the osseous defects and associated soft tissues can restore functionality but can be highly complex and not free of complications. This 15-minute lecture will summarize the state of the art pertaining to reconstruction of mandibular and maxillary defects after oncological surgery.
