While many veterinarians may have had their own tonsils removed in adolescence, they likely don’t often need to think about the tonsils in their canine patients. Neoplastic processes that affect the canine tonsil are discussed, including diagnostics for work up of tonsillar disease and treatment options. This lecture also reviews pertinent literature and prepares attendees for tonsillectomy when appropriate.
