This seminar focuses on the management of equine emergencies involving the thoracic or abdominal body wall. Discussion includes surgical techniques and pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative stabilization and supportive care. The seminar also includes a case-based interactive panel discussion.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to describe surgical treatment of emergencies affecting the thoracic body wall.
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe surgical treatment of emergencies affecting the abdominal body wall.
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative management of surgical emergencies affecting the thoracic or abdominal body wall.
