Dr. Dockery graduated from St. George’s University in 2013 and completed a private practice internship at Brazos Valley Equine Hospital in Stephenville, Texas. She then pursued a fellowship in Dr. Alicia Bertone’s Comparative Orthopedic Research Laboratory at The Ohio State University, followed by an Equine Surgery Residency (ACVS) and a master’s in Advanced Veterinary Clinical Sciences, which she completed in 2018. At that time, Dr. Dockery joined The Ohio State University as a Clinical Instructor in Equine Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, and Field Services. In 2020, she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and accepted a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Georgia. Since then, Dr. Dockery has completed certifications in Chiropractic and is actively working towards completing the remaining requirements for additional certifications in Acupuncture and Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.
