Dr. Dustin Pulliam, DVM, MBA
Dr. Pulliam grew up in southeast Tennessee on his grandfather’s farm, where he gained an early appreciation for hard work, agriculture and animal care. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 with clinical training at Texas A&M and later went on to complete his MBA at Lincoln Memorial University in 2021.
Dr. Pulliam’s professional journey reflects a diverse background in equine practice, small animal general practice, and veterinary leadership overseeing multi-hospital operations across several states. He currently serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Professional Life Skills and Practice Management at Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, he leads efforts as Director of Operations for Blue Heron Consulting with the Alpine Network of Hospitals, Lastly, he owns and operates Animal Urgent Care Tri-State, a small animal urgent/emergency hospital in Middlesboro KY.
Rooted in the Cumberland Gap region, he and his family enjoy training horses, snow skiing and exploring the natural beauty of the area.
