Marilyn Frézier is a Ph.D. candidate in pharmacology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Université de Montréal, and a member of the Groupe de Recherche en Pharmacologie Animale du Québec (GREPAQ). Her research focuses on chronic osteoarthritic pain using a validated surgical rat model, with a particular emphasis on neuropeptidomics, neuronal plasticity, and gene therapy approaches. She is also interested in the role of the gut microbiota in chronic osteoarthritic pain through the gut-brain axis.
