Aude Castel, DV, MSc, DACVIM (Neurology) (she/her/hers)

Associate Professor in Neurology
University of Montreal, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Castel is an associate professor in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal. She graduated from Toulouse Veterinary School in France then pursued a rotating internship and a master degree at the University of Montreal. After a specialty internship at Canada West Veterinary Specialitsts, she completed a residency in Neurology at North Caroline State University.
She is a member of the GREPAQ (Quebec Animal Pharmacology Research Group) and is focusing her research efforts on understanding the impact of aging and chronic pain including osteoarthritis on the nervous system of dogs and cats using electrodiagnostics.
