Dr. Tucker is an assistant professor of large animal surgery at Purdue University. She comes from an agricultural background and attended veterinary school at Texas A&M University. After a year at Equine Medical Associates, Inc. (Edmond, Oklahoma) and another year-long internship at Kansas State University, she completed her surgical residency and PhD at the University of Saskatchewan. She sees a variety of equine and farm animal patients in her current role and her main research interests include equine airway surgery, soft tissue surgery, and 3D printing in large animal surgery.
