Dr. M’Cloud was born in Virginia, but grew up on Prince Edward Island in eastern Canada. She completed a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Prince Edward Island and then remained on PEI to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Atlantic Veterinary College. Following veterinary school, in 2021 Dr. M’Cloud moved to New Jersey to complete a rotating equine internship at the Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center. After internship she completed a large animal surgical residency at Cornell University, and is currently completing a fellowship in large animal soft tissue minimally invasive surgery.
