Harry is currently a director and equine surgeon at WestVETS Animal Hospitals in Brisbane. A 2010 graduate of James Cook University, Harry completed an equine surgery internship in Kentucky, followed by a residency in large animal surgery at the University of Georgia. During his residency, he undertook research on the biomechanics of equine larygnoplasy (roarer surgery), joint injection techniques, and co-authored multiple book chapters. Harry became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in Large Animal Surgery in 2016, and a registered specialist in equine surgery. Harry has been an equine surgeon at the WestVETS Equine Hospital since 2017. Harry spends his time almost exclusively in equine clinical practice with special interests including orthopaedics, laparoscopy, dentistry, and emergency surgery. Harry is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association, Equine Veterinarians Australia, American College of Veterinary Surgeons, and AO Foundation.
