I was born and raised in Colombia. I obtained my veterinary medical degree from the University of Tolima, Colombia in 2019. Following graduation, I completed an internship at Performance Equine Veterinary Services in Ocala, Fl where I gained broad experience in equine sports medicine. Afterwards, I joined Peterson Smith Equine Hospital for a rotating internship. In 2024, I joined Iowa State University for a Large Animal rotating internship. I also completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) program in 2024.
