Dr. Justine Cianci is a Large Animal Surgery Resident at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Following graduation, she completed rotating internships at the Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. She subsequently pursued a musculoskeletal research fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Kyla Ortved, where she investigated mechanisms of musculoskeletal pathology and repair. Her current research continues to focus on both in vitro and in vivo models of musculoskeletal disease and healing.
