Kate Lavallee-Sharma (she/her/hers)

Kate is a scholarly publishing professional with over seven years’ experience working with societies to develop their journal portfolios. While she has previoulsy held various journals publishing roles, she is currently a Senior Publisher on Wiley's Partner Publishing team, working with the ACVS and their journal, Veterinary Surgery. Kate is also an active member of the Society for Scholarly Publishing and volunteers on their Early Career Subcommittee. Through the Society for Scholarly Publishing, she was awarded a Fellowship in 2022 and Emerging Leader Award in 2024. She is passionate about working with publishing partners and colleagues across the industry to advance science and access to education.
