In this seminar, an expert speaks on Indigenous relationships and providing veterinary care to underprivileged communities. An indigenous representative presents to comment on the sacred relationship between animals and Indigenous peoples, followed by a panel discussion with other veterinarians who provide care to these communities, and discusses challenges and rewards with the work. Attendees can expect to have a better understanding of the human-animal bond and will be better equipped to develop relationships and provide veterinary care to their own local underprivileged communities.
