The Kinetic Biomechanic Leveling Osteotomy (KBLO), is a novel technique which utilizes a single radial osteotomy centered on a defined mechanical CORA (mCORA), allowing for correction of eTPA while maintaining mechanical alignment and affording a large proximal tibial segment for implant stability. The KBLO eliminates the unpredictability of the tibial long axis shift (TLAS) induced by previous techniques by correcting to a new, planned mechanical axis.
