Janne Stael is a veterinary surgeon who recently completed a Residency in Large Animal Surgery under the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS). She graduated from Ghent University (Belgium) with a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, after which she pursued a one-year rotating equine internship at the same institution. Following her internship, she gained further clinical experience as an assistant veterinarian in the surgical department at the University of Zurich, Switserland. She then returned to Belgium to undertake and complete her ECVS residency in large animal surgery. Janne is committed to advancing surgical care in large animals through evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
