Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgical Oncology

Dr. Skinner is associate professor of surgical oncology at the University of Missouri. Dr. Skinner qualified as a veterinarian in 2010 at the University of Bristol and undertook an internship at Northwest Surgeons, a multidisciplinary referral practice in northwest England. Following this, he completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Florida. He returned to the University of Bristol for a residency in small animal surgery in 2012. Following the completion of his residency in 2015, Dr. Skinner returned to the University of Florida for a fellowship in surgical oncology. Since completion of his fellowship training, he has been working primarily in the field of surgical oncology at the University of Missouri. His research interests include neuroendocrine tumors, soft tissue sarcoma, and lymph node staging and management.
